Badenoch & Clark, Adecco Norge AS, with registered office at Rosenkrantz gate 16, Oslo, registered with the Norwegian trade and companies register under number 935 333 156 (‘Badenoch & Clark’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) provides the Self Service Portal (“Portal”) for its candidates. This Portal will allow you to search and apply for jobs offered by the various entities of Badenoch & Clark in the locations you are interested to work in and which match your interests, skills and/or experience.

Badenoch & Clark is the Data Controller and may collect the following personal data - for the purposes indicated below.

Personal data collected

Personal data that Badenoch & Clark may collect include, but are not limited to

  • your name, address, date of birth and qualifications and any other information you mentioned on your resume.
  • If you authenticate with your LinkedIn or any other social media account, your profile data, your contacts’ public data and your email address will be stored in our database.
  • we will request and hold copies of, for example, your work permit documentation for the locations you will work in.
  • with your expressed permission only, we may also collect, manage and contact your references to determine suitability.
  • we may also collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health data).
  • if you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • we collect information of all users of our website/portal in aggregated form in order to provide us with a better understanding of the users of our website/portal as a group, but which does not contain personal information.
  • we may also collect information on your visits to our website/portal including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access. This information will make your visit to our website/portal easier in the future since, for example, we might suggest jobs from Badenoch & Clark branches based on the location from which you access the website/portal.

How we use your data

Badenoch & Clark collects and processes your personal data:

  • in order to facilitate your recruitment process, including (with your prior approval and consent) sending your resume to prospective employers for consideration.

Transfer of data to third parties

To facilitate our efficient use of your data, and to provide you with the best services and/or opportunities, it may be necessary for us to disclose your information to third parties. However, this disclosure will only occur in the following circumstances:

  • To our suppliers, subcontractors, contractors and agents: From time to time we may engage or employ other companies and individuals located worldwide to perform functions on our behalf. As an example, we may engage an agent to perform administrative functions associated with our business activities. Such recipients will only have access to data required by them to perform their functions. These recipients will be subject to contractual and other confidentiality obligations.
  • To other Badenoch & Clark entities in other countries including their suppliers, subcontractors contractors and agents which may be located worldwide, so that we can better serve you.   • in the event of business transactions (e.g. merge, acquisition, due diligence) we may need to disclose your data to the prospective seller or buyer.

Your rights

Right of access to your personal data
You are entitled at any point in time to access your personal data and to obtain confirmation as to whether or not data relating to you are being processed.

You are also entitled at any point in time to modify/update your personal information from Badenoch & Clark’s databases.

You are entitled to object at any time, for compelling and legitimate reasons relating to your personal situation, to the processing of your personal data.

You are responsible for keeping your login details to the Portal safe, in particular the password that we have given you or that you have chosen. These login credentials are for your own use and you are not permitted to share your account details or logon credentials with any other persons or third parties. Although we will do our best to protect your data, the transmission of information via the Internet is never completely secure and we cannot fully guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Portal or any third party and for this reason any transmission of data or use of this Portal is at your own risk.
